Jah-Jireh is a private charitable non-profit retirement home for Jehovah's Witnesses.
The home was started to fill a great need for elderly care in Canada - a home that would respect the spiritual needs of our dear elderly ones along with providing quality care for their physical needs. Following the example of the Jah-Jireh homes for Jehovah’s Witnesses in the UK, a home was opened in Beamsville, Ontario.
The name Jah-Jireh comes from Genesis 22:14 and means "Jehovah provides." This underlines the confidence that we have that Jehovah will look after these “widows and orphans” and will bless the efforts of those who care for them.
